Here’s the video of our participation in the Garmin Barcelona Tiathlon 2015.
A few months ago at the Hotel Barcelona Princess we started a solidarity challenge, and its high point was the celebration of the Garmin Barcelona Triathlon on 21st June.
Our challenge was clear, raise funds for research into an effective treatment of X-linked Adrenoleukodystrophy (X_ALD), a genetic abnormality that affects mainly children between 4 and 10 years. Together we raised 4261 EUR.
We thank all the friends who supported the challenge through Migranodearena.org platform, without you it would not have been possible.
We also thank Dr. Aurora Pujol and IDIBELL team for their unwavering support. All funds raised were fully delivered to the IDIBELL.
Finally we thank the Hotel Barcelona Princess team, because both those who participated in the Triatlhon (Santiago Hernández, Carlos Solis, Miquel Molina, Joan Esteve, Pere Jordi Estivill and Victor Feliu) and all employees turned entirely to this initiative and this triumph is also theirs.
This is not an end; but a continuation because we are committed to work in actions linked to raising funds for research in X_ALD could progress rapidly and increasingly discovering effective treatments.
This initiative has just begun. We count on you!
