For Christmas the streets of Barcelona have many lights and decorations, and in the city you can enjoy it in many ways.
- Christmas markets in the Cathedral square of Barcelona:It is one of the oldest places in the city, and in this square you can find original Christmas objects.
- Mangers: In a quiet walk along the Ramblas you can visit some mangers, which are a sample of small figures that symbolize the birth of Jesus. Also in Sant Jaume square you can find a big manger that this year is aerial.
- Christmas “Tió”: It is a typical Catalan tradition that consists on decorating a trunk with eyes and a smile and feeding it with different kind of food for a couple of weeks, and on December 24, it gives you a few gifts.
